ERMG is a client dedicated claim support services group. We assist clients in identifying the documentation needed to support a claim, manage the data and information requests, and consult and facilitate resolution of insurance related issues.
ERMG Origins
On January 4th 2005, a fire occurred at the Suncor Oil Sands Plant in Northern Alberta. Very soon after the event, Suncor put together an Insurance Recovery Team (IRT) to provide insurance claim management, engineering, document management and accounting expertise to assist in the development, negotiation and settlement of the ensuing insurance claim. In the following months, the IRT helped Suncor through a complex insurance claim process. The US $1 Billion Property Damage/Business Interruption claim was satisfactorily settled in less than 24 months, with Suncor receiving substantive interim payments along the way.
EMRG is the association of a core group of the former IRT. They represent a seasoned team of experienced professionals with a proven track record. Their low overhead and great flexibility means their services are extremely competitive. They provide hands on assistance as required and work directly for your firm.
